A New World Order Is Coming

Let The Bible Interpret The Bible

by Charles Kimbrough

Since the beginning of time, there have been wars between tribes and nations. Men have fought over borders and over everything imaginable. Including control of countries, control of the seas, territory over gold, silver, more recently oil, and yes even salt. In more recent years, men have tried to set up a one-world ruling government to control people.

The first attempt to unify mankind was at the tower of Babel (GEN 11:1-9). Then came Babylon and King Nebuchadnezzar, (DAN 2:36-40). Next, Alexander the Great ruled the known world. At the age of 33 he had command of all that he saw, and died. Four of his generals took over and ruled for a time.

Then came the Caesars and Rome who also ruled the known world of their time. Since the Caesars, there have been several other attempts to revive the Roman Empire. Hitler and Mussolini are the latest examples. Adolph Hitler was surely trying, with his Third Reich, to set up a thousand-year reign, which was a kind of kingdom of God. SOUND FAMILIAR?

There have been other attempts to solve the world's problems by setting up a ONE-WORLD GOVERNMENT. Woodrow Wilson and the League of Nations failed following WW 1, because the U.S. Senate failed to ratify U.S. participation in the league.

After World War II, the Roosevelt administration, along with England and Russia, founded the United Nations on October 24, 1945. Their goal was a NEW WORLD ORDER through the United Nations, which was patterned after the United States. George Bush's announcement of a new world order was first echoed by Franklin D. Roosevelt during WW II.

The great seal of the United States has the inscription "NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM", which means new series of ages, new era or new world order. Checking MAT 24:3 KJV, the last line reads "and of the end of the world". Most modern translations use the word "age" for world. Therefore, the term symbolizes the beginning of a new era or the beginning of a new world, thus "new world order". The front of the seal has an olive branch in the claws of an eagle, and a quiver of arrows to make war bringing about that peace.

Wilson wanted to bring peace to the world with his league. The United Nations has the same goal: to settle disputes in a peaceful manner with-out war, or to make war to bring about peace. These are big goals, and on the surface, good goals. Inscribed on the U.N. Building in New York is the Bible quote from Isaiah 2:4, "They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation; neither shall they learn war anymore." An admirable goal.

Too bad the founders of the United Nations could not understand the rest of the chapter of Isaiah because GOD is the one who will accomplish that task, not man. Too bad they don't realize the LAW will go forth OUT OF JERUSALEM, where Jesus and the saints will administer the law, not New York City, Washington, DC, or anywhere else. However, this is NOT the new world order that Bush talks about. His new world order is Satan's counterfeit of the real Kingdom of God.

The United Nations with the United States is going to succeed for a short period of time. All it needs now is a leader willing to do the will of SATAN. The entire world is going to be controlled to the point that no man (nation) may buy or sell without the permission/MARK of the BEAST.

Many Christians are going to be fooled by this counterfeit of the REAL KINGDOM OF GOD. We have to ask the questions. Was Jesus correct when He said He was "BORN TO BE KING" (JOH 18:37)? King of what? King over who? If you were to go out into the streets of America and ask where will the Kingdom of God be, if that person gave you an honest answer it would be, "I really don't know." Most church people will tell you that the Kingdom of GOD is within you or in the hearts of men, or it is the church. Some will tell you it is in heaven, that the destiny of the "saved" person is to go to heaven. This tells me that the REAL GOSPEL of the coming Kingdom of GOD that Jesus taught is not being preached in America like it should be.

Let us see what Jesus taught. Jesus came preaching, MARK 1:14 "Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of GOD, :15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of GOD is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Jesus taught the disciples all through His ministry about the coming Kingdom of GOD. Peter, James and John and all the disciples, who later became apostles, understood what Jesus meant by the coming Kingdom of GOD. They even argued about who was going to be the greatest in the Kingdom, (LUKE 22:14). In ACT 1:6 ..."will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" :7 ...It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority."

The apostle Paul taught the things concerning Christ. He preached the Gospel in the name of Jesus Christ. He also preached the Gospel that Christ taught. ACT 28:31, "preaching the kingdom of GOD and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him." He also taught in 1COR 15 that flesh and blood CANNOT INHERIT the Kingdom of GOD. Paul also said in 1Co 15:20, "But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. :21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. :22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ ALL" (every human being that ever lived) "shall be made alive. :23 But each one in his own order" (more than one resurrection): "Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming. :24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the Kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. :25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. :26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death."

REIGN WHERE? REV 5:10 "And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall REIGN ON THE EARTH." Reign where? ON THE EARTH! Did you get that? NOT in heaven but on earth. REV 11:15, "Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, `The kingdoms of this WORLD have become the KINGDOMS OF OUR LORD and of HIS CHRIST, and He shall reign forever and ever!' (Same place the saints are, on the earth). Rev 20:4, "And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God"(for teaching what the scriptures actually say), "who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years." WHERE? ON THIS EARTH!

All of these scriptures reflect what was taught about the coming Kingdom of GOD in the Old Testament. Let's look at Isaiah 11:1-10 (para-phrased). Isaiah 11 talks about a root of Jesse, Jesus, who has the spirit of wisdom, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge, etc., all for judging the earth's inhabitants. It says the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard and the young goat will sleep together, a time when the very personality of animals will be changed. Verses :8 "The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den. :9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain," (kingdom) "for the EARTH SHALL BE FULL OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD as the waters cover the sea." ALL on this earth, ALL after the return of Jesus the Christ. Read the remainder of this chapter.

In Daniel 2:36, Daniel describes the great statue Nebuchadnezzar dreamed about and begins inter-preting Nebuchadnezzar's dream then in vs :41, "Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter's clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. :42, "And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. :43, "As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they WILL NOT ADHERE TO ONE ANOTHER, just as iron does not mix with clay." (they are NOT UNITED) :44, "And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. :45, "Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold--the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its inter-pretation is sure." All this happens on the earth.

Yes a NEW WORLD is coming that will be ruled by Jesus and all the saints. This has to be taught to the world, but especially in this country that has gone so far away from GOD, wants nothing to do with GOD, and does not want to submit to the laws of GOD (all ten of the commandments).

As churches of GOD our job is just really beginning. The final warning message must be taught not only to get this nation to repent, (it could), but to give a final warning of GOD's wrath on this country and on all of mankind. STAY TUNED.

P.S. This article is not intended as covering all the Gospel. It is part of a booklet being prepared.

From all across the country, on August 1st and 2nd, 1992, several pastors and wives of independent Churches of God met together at the Church of God in Boise City, Oklahoma.

The purpose of this seminar was to come together on the things we agree on. These are the basic trunk-of-the-tree doctrines which have all been taught and have been hung onto these many years. We discussed some of the points on which we differ as well.

We also talked about the things we should preach, teach, and try to accomplish in these end time years when we are so much nearer to the return of our Savior and elder brother, Jesus Christ.

Sermonettes for Sabbath service in order of speaking were: Opening Jack Hines of Colorado Springs, CO; Charles Kimbrough of Homosassa, FL; Thad Miller, Jr. of Lenoir, NC; Paul Hammond of Lucasville, OH; Dick Shuta of San Diego, CA; Clyde Holman of East Bend, NC; Milt White of Delhart, TX; and Jack Hines of Colorado Springs, CO.

Clyde Holman was ordained an elder on Sunday afternoon. He serves a group of God's people in East Bend, North Carolina. On Sabbath, a scrumptious potluck meal was furnished by the ladies of the local church area following church service and prior to the start of the meetings. Sunday noon we all ate together at the Townsman Motel where most of the out-of-towners were staying. Special music both days was presented by Jack & Evelyn Hines, Milt White, Audrey Miller and Phil Miller.

If you would like audio tapes of the sermonettes given Sabbath, August 1st, please write to the Sentinel and request them. Give us your name and address and we will send them to you.

At the first annual meeting of associated Church of God groups from various parts of the U.S., an ordination culminated the conference. Following the scriptural teachings of 1 Timothy 3, Thad Miller, Jr. of Lenoir, NC, recommended the ordination of Clyde Holman of East Bend, NC. Mr. Jack Hines of Colorado Springs, CO agreed with the ordination. Three other pastors also participated in the service: Charles Kimbrough of Homosassa, FL; Paul Hammond of Lucasville, OH; Richard Shuta of San Diego, CA; also Mr. Vernon Cryer of Boise City (host of the local church) assisted.

Mr. Holman began studying many years ago and started attending Worldwide Church of God in 1962. Later he was affiliated with the Church of God, International. He is now leading a fellowship group in East Bend, NC. His lovely wife Daisy and her three children are from Luzon in the Philippines. Services for their fellowship group are on the 2nd and 4th Sabbaths. They attend the 1st Sabbath at the Community Church of God in Lenoir, NC. The 3rd Sabbath is left open. All of these services are at 1:30 p.m.

They have sent quite a bit of literature to the Philippines to various groups and it has been well received. They are planning to continue sending literature and Bibles. This winter, God willing, the Holman's will visit the Philippines and make future plans for a home and church site on an eight acre tract of land they have already purchased.

Daisy's son, Sam Badillo, hopes to return to have a ministry there. These are long range plans and something to remember in prayer.

Let's wish them continued growth in His grace and love. We congratulate the Holman family on this ordination service.

Thank you very much for your newsletter, Jerusalem Sentinel. It's very interesting reading. I hope to learn a lot.

The Feast of Booths sounds excellent, but due to being out of work, I won't be able to be there! My finances are very tight/meager right now.

I hope to read all of your literature as it's available! Keep up the Good work! CT

I choose to write about the scripture when Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters; for either he will be loyal to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

In writing on this I will refer to the Parable found in Luke 12:16-20. Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: "The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. "And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops? "So he said, I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry."

"But God said to him, `Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; (i.e. you will die) then whose will those things be which you have provided? Now this rich man's whole thought was to increase his earthly things. Serving God should be the total goal and commitment of a good Christian. The Kingdom of God should be our total desire and should be the only thing we seek in life.

The Lord told us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore do not worry, saying, What shall we eat?' or `What shall we drink?' or `What shall we wear?' "For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

The Lord has also said in Matthew 13:45-46, "Again, the Kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it."

The Kingdom of God is so desirable that it should be our only goal. There can be no other.

I hope that everything is going well in your lives. Is everyone ready for the Feast? It will be upon us before we know it. As I told you last month there are several booklets planned. The first installment on the New World Order is contained in this issue. When it is complete it will be published and made available to the local churches for distribution. Next month, we will begin Church Government. I think you will all find this interesting.
